The Visual Studio IDE executable is called devenv.exe . Devenv lets you set various options for the integrated development environment (IDE), and also build, debug, and deploy projects, from the command line.

The following command line could be used to set the Visual Studio IDE font to Arial:
devenv /fn arial

To set the Visual Studio IDE font to Arial and the size of 16:
devenv /fn arial /fs 16
